Why Did You Cremate My Thoughts? by Ryan Quinn Flanagan

Thomas-h-lesya-ukrainka-manor

my raucous is lynchpin snoring

my baby unborn and living inside a phone booth

my birthday candles floating down the grievous cooking oil Nile

my cranial gearshift in hock

cotton gins of stringed compliance

holding the scorpion to paltry tongues

the 25th letter of the alphabet never consulted

my stammering yellow freefall

my legs of someone else’s

kicking.
