It’s the theory of intangibility

I’m not a scientist

But I know

The water may outweigh the land

But it does not have more heft than dark

Consider the hands of The Magician’s assistant

That which translates the translator

Twiddling in the disappearance-box

This is how we interpret the sprawl

A facsimile of empathy and electricity

And all its mutable, one-way breathing apparatuses

Like snow on the bus station benches in Tucson
